ACHIEVEMENTS
ICS family
One of the achievements that we take the most pride in, is the ICS family. We have learned over the years that what defines family is not solely blood relations. Family consists of the people who support and care for you, and the people you can confide in and trust. From students and parents, to mentors and teachers, ICS staff, ICS brothers and sisters, and all the others we have met along the way, the ICS family is large and continuously growing. There’s a certain understanding we all share that gives us a connection you cannot have with someone who didn’t go to ICS.
We frequently keep in touch with teachers, administrators, alumni and staff from ICS, whether it’s a phone call or a comment on Facebook. We know they are all there to support each other any way they can, and we will always find family in them no matter what.
Our Growth
“Large streams from little fountains flow, Tall oaks from little acorns grow.”
ICS is unique. As large as we are now, and as we continue to grow, we cannot forget our roots, but take pride in them. Starting in 1990 as a small villa school, confidence in our brand has enabled us to meet the challenges of growing our family, by opening new schools. We continue to build confidence and trust with our students, parents and staff, and anticipate that our brand will continue to grow in the future.
We frequently keep in touch with teachers, administrators, alumni and staff from ICS, whether it’s a phone call or a comment on Facebook. We know they are all there to support each other any way they can, and we will always find family in them no matter what.

Astronaut Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship
International Community Schools are honored to be a part of this programme where we could represent the United Arab Emirates by nominating 5 Emirati students and 1-2 teachers. Teachers had to have demonstrated a strong commitment to STEM, and to have evidenced the impact that their matter expertise and enthusiasm has had on students.
To be nominated, each student had to demonstrate a desire to further their studies in the field of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Two of them will be shortlisted to participate. Endeavour scholarships were awarded based on merit by select stakeholders in participating air show communities, and reviewed by a Space Camp team including Al Worden himself. The winners were announced at the Endeavour Scholarships in November 2019 at the Dubai Airshow. International Community Schools are honoured to have been a part of this programme and to represent the United Arab Emirates. It is with great pleasure that we can share with you that two of our students were successful in their nomination for the Endeavour Scholarships.
The students will be attending the Endeavour Scholarship in August 2020, in Huntsville, Alabama.
They are:
Saif Al Badawna - Grade 9 -UAE National
